About Salisa

Creating opportunities through education.

Salisa Foundation is a registered Section 8 non-profit company based in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, incorporated on 11 April 2022 under the Companies Act of India.

Every year, students across Himachal Pradesh finish school with the marks to go further — and stop anyway. Not because of ability. Because of cost. The Foundation exists to remove that barrier.

According to AISHE (All India Survey on Higher Education), India's Gross Enrolment Ratio in higher education is approximately 28% — meaning roughly 7 in 10 young people do not reach higher education at all.

Why Salisa

Four principles we're accountable to.

Opportunity

Merit-based selection using verified Class 10 and Class 12 percentages — no interviews, no gatekeeping.

Transparency

CIN, incorporation date, registered address and leadership are published on every page.

Student-centric support

Residential facilities and hostel-fee waivers for orphan, BPL, EWS and widow-child applicants.

Long-term impact

Coverage runs across the full duration of the course, not a one-year grant.
